Strings performed at my brother's wedding at the Prince Regent in June 2004. We were all a bit nervous about live music, but I had had enough of DJ's who play repetitively similar music at a volume that makes conversation unrealistic. So Anuradha arranged for a sitar and tabla player to entertain during dinner, and then the band took to the stage and played a solid 2 hours of bhangra and Bollywood and requests. THEY WERE FANTASTIC and guests whom I have never seen dance before were dancing to the very end. They played non-stop for over an hour effortlessly blending in songs. It was like a carnival, and was never over-bearing or naff. It was like going to a really good live gig. The band look good, they don't show off, and they are all decent people. Honestly, I would recommend them at any function, any size. Such a pleasant change to a DJ. I love live music, and these guys rocked. I wish them all well for the future. Peace.Pankaj

Thank you Kiran & the Strings. I was at your concert here in Helsinki last night at Savoy theatre. It was awesome. Your music really overwhelmed me. Seems that I´ve become a fan of Bollywood music. I hope you'll come to Finland again in the future! It's very seldom that we get to hear any Indian music here. God bless you. PS: Your website fascinates the eye, nice colors. We have heard you many times and last Sunday 16th December 2001 you entertained us at our parents 60th wedding anniversay in a way which is difficult to describe. Everyone enjoyed so much as variety of songs from bhajans to gujarati popular songs and then hindi came up one after the other in a smooth flow. You made all of us truly happy .
When you said you had a web site I did'nt realise there was so much on it. Well done.
